Resounding Movement Through Literacy
My work on Concentric Echoes pushed me to treat the design phase as both a conceptual exploration and a technical proving ground, where drafting became the tool that anchored the project’s fluid, rhythmic ideas into a buildable framework. I used precise drawings to choreograph form, structure, and spatial movement, ensuring the project’s layered geometry wasn’t just visually compelling but logically and constructively sound. Through iterative plans, elevations, and detailed studies, drafting allowed me to distill an abstract narrative into a coherent architectural system. This project strengthened my belief that transformative design emerges when visionary ideas are disciplined through rigorous, intentional documentation.

Concentric Echoes is a sculptural bookshelf where form and function converge. Constructed from reclaimed concrete, raw wood, and industrial chains, it embodies a dialogue between materiality and memory. Its concentric layers suggest movement and resonance, reflecting the narratives contained within its shelves. Compact yet commanding, the piece transforms a utilitarian object into an architectural statement, with each material carefully orchestrated to create tension, texture, and balance. Concentric Echoes exists as both structure and story which is a testament to the poetry of design and the enduring beauty of reclaimed, raw materials.
